It stands to reason that it will turn heads when exhibiting something different from what people expect, and the BAC Hose Drawers and BAC Hose Reel Racks did not disappoint. Expo visitors regularly entered the stand to try out the easy rolling and quick access to the hose these new storage solutions offer. The BAC team demonstrated how easily over-pull was rewound and how quickly new hoses could be loaded. Customers were quick to discuss how much hose they could move closer to the point of use (the cut-off saw) and how they would no longer have to store their bundles and reels up on a pallet rack to be taken down by a forklift each time they needed to cut a 2 metre length from the bundle.

Having recently modified its early hose storage solutions from large, heavy structures to lean, modular storage cabinets, BAC now has a flexible range that offers Hose Workshops more options, innovation, and potential savings. BAC Hose Drawers are storage solutions for loose bundles of hose up to 1.5“ NB and 15 metres long. These drawers are fitted with a turntable upon which you can coil your hose. It is then an easy matter to draw out the length you need to cut.BAC Hose Reel Racks are a cabinet with three levels of rollers used to mount the reels of smaller diameter hoses. These are far more effective than storing the reels on a spool bar as spool bars often have to hold multiple reels, and therefore, changing Reels on a spool bar is a lot more cumbersome. The rollers support up to 100kg reels and roll extremely freely, making drawing and rewinding hose a simple matter.

BAC offers a vertical storage solution called Hose Bundle Shelving for the much larger and heavier hose bundles. Adjustable vertical separators divide shelves so these heavy bundles can stand on their end, making access effortless. BAC offers separators to suit bundles of 600mm diameter, 900mm diameter and 1100mm diameter.

Between the Hose Bundle Shelving, the Hose Reel Racking, and the BAC Hose Drawer, you will have a high-density storage solution for 95% of your typical bulk hydraulic hose.
